THE OMEGABOX – THE HEART OF THE COMPANY

At the core of our company is the industry-changing OmegaBox, utilizing a “continuous header and footer system”.  The OmegaBox uses a full glue-lam surround, proprietary fasteners, and some other super-secret-sauce (all of which we have applied for several patents).

 

We have 65 and growing number of engineered box sizes. These have multiple advantageous over other builder styles, at the same cost as traditional modular construction. Our OmegaBox even rivals the capability of steel!  In short, the box system acts like a rigid cage as the building “foundation” of virtually anything you can think of.

PRODUCT ADVANTAGES
  • Incredibly strong! Structural integrity is placed in the frame and fasteners themselves, NOT in wall, window, door headers, and footers like traditional builds
  • 250+ lb. snow loads tested standard (this is not a typo). No upcharges needed.
  • 250+ mph wind shear tested standard (this is not a typo). No upcharges needed.
  • Zero cracking of drywall, or movement of any materials upon transport (see case study below).
  • Ecologically minded by using renewable wood products, instead of steel and concrete. Leave a much smaller carbon footprint.
DESIGN ADVANTAGES
  • There is literally NOTHING we have seen that we cannot build. Limitless design possibilities.
  • Engineered individual boxes, vs. engineered floorplans on traditional builds, means that just like LEGOS, we can truly make unique shapes and sizes.
  • Windows and doors of any size can be placed ANYWHERE! (however many you want)
  • Roofline style matters not.  Any style of roof is just an added, no additional-cost feature. Flat, Gable, Shed… whatever works.
  • Truly expandable, our OmegaBox “modular” units can be added to later with no additional engineering, and with minimal invasiveness. Add-a-room!
  • No marriage line!  Two boxes set side-by-side on site, the actual need for a traditional marriage line is eliminated. Simply cut the middle section out once set, or wrap the header for a design feature. Big expansive spaces are available for design features now, as well as multi-story open spaces.
  • Cantilevered sets, and unsupported sections, are possible now with the OmegaBox. This was only possible before with steel.
DELIVERY ADVANTAGES
  • With multiple engineered sizes, we can utilize smaller boxes to complete a unit, and use smaller, less expensive trucks to transport to the site.
  • The boxes can be fit with connectors just like shipping containers and will withstand actual shipping on rail, and boat.  Seriously.
  • Smaller sizes can be delivered by small trucks, and set with loaders instead of cranes. 
CASE STUDY – THE BRECKENBRIDGE INCIDENT, 2016

 

One of the first units we built with the newly engineered OmegaBox, had an unfortunate incident that cost us thousands of dollars and six additional months of time.  BUT it proved out an invaluable point with unrivaled proof that we wouldn’t change for the world.

 

Long story short, one section of a cabin being delivered to Breckenridge, Colorado, HIT A LOW BRIDGE AT 45 MPH.  The pilot car was going too fast, too close, and yes the unbelievable happened.

RESULTS:

  • IT PEELED A 2’ SECTION OFF THE TOP LIKE A SARDINE CAN
  • ZERO BREAKS TO WINDOWS, WALLS!
  • ZERO CRACKS TO THE DRYWALL ON THE INSIDE OF THE UNIT!
  • SHOOK THE DRIVER UP TERRIBLY
  • CONFOUNDED ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN IN THIS INDUSTRY WITH THE SURVIVAL OF THE UNIT
